"NEUTRALITY IS NOT INNOCENT."
I have heard many people say, “We don’t care about politics. We don’t care about what’s happening around us.”
Their perspective is simple — “Until it doesn’t affect me, I don’t care.”
But let me put this in simple words.
We, as humans, are social beings living in a society. And that society is not limited to just our neighbors — it includes plants, animals, ecosystems… everything around us.
All of these coexist in peace and harmony only when there is balance.
Now think about this—
You say you love nature, but remain silent when it is being destroyed.
You say you care about water, but stay silent when the water is polluted.
You support human rights, but say nothing when innocent people are tortured or killed.
You say you support the growth and development of your country, but remain silent when a nation is destroyed in the name of religion—
where people lose their rights to speak, to question, to seek education, and to demand justice.
You choose to ignore the problems around you and believe you are free.
But a person who cannot stand up for what is right is not truly free —
they are imprisoned by fear, judgment, and their own thoughts.
And one day, it will affect all of us.
Because politics is not just a subject or a field — it shapes laws, human rights, and even your basic necessities: food, water, shelter, and the air you breathe.
It affects the water that gives us life, the trees that protect us, and the innocent lives that are lost every day.
All these things are connected to each one of us in every way.
Your opinion does matter.
But neutrality is not innocent.
If you stay silent, you support it — and that silence has consequences.
Because someday, if not today, it will affect you too.
I hope people get it !! And You explained this so beautifully Masha Allah 🤍
